SpiceJet launches expanded Winter Schedule

Air India to continue Vistara customer experience post merger

Air India announced post the merger between Air India and Vistara, the passenger experience offered by Vistara will continue. Vistara aircraft will be operated by Air India and will be identified by a special four-digit Air India code beginning with the digit “2”. For example, UK 955 will become AI 2955, helping customers identify them in the booking process. The route network  operated by Vistara aircraft will continue to be the same, alongside the Vistara in-flight experience that includes the product and service such as menu and cutlery on the Vistara aircraft. The airline, through a multi-media campaign, stated  that the unified Air India opens up limitless possibilities for passengers including unparalleled connectivity to over 90 domestic and international destinations and over 800 more destinations through codeshare and interline partners.

 

IndiGo connects Pune and Dubai daily from 22nd November

IndiGo announced the launch of daily direct flights between its Pune hub and Dubai, commencing from 22 November. The airline operates 383 weekly flights on average from the base serving 25 domestic destinations and 2 international destinations. The airline in a statement said "This new route will enhance IndiGo's international network from Pune by providing direct connectivity to one of the most sought-after tourist and business destinations for Indian travellers in the UAE." IndiGo Head of Global Sales, Mr. Vinay Malhotra said, “We are pleased to announce daily, non-stop direct, flights between Pune and Dubai, the thriving commercial hub known for its luxury shopping and ultramodern architecture. With the introduction of these flights, IndiGo will now operate over 100 weekly, direct, flights to Dubai from 13 cities in India, and now proudly offers a wide choice of more than 225 weekly flights into the UAE from 18 cities in India."

 

SpiceJet launches expanded Winter Schedule

SpiceJet announced the launch of 32 new flights for the winter schedule beginning October 27, 2024, operating in the domestic sector and two connecting Delhi to Phuket with daily non-stop service. The airline will launch four new routes from its Mumbai basr to Patna, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Goa. The airline will increase connectivity to Patna to Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Kolkata, and Bengaluru and Chennai to Port Blair and Pune; Delhi to Phuket, Amritsar, Gorakhpur and Kolkata to Port Blair. SpiceJet Chief Business Officer Debojo Maharshi said, “We are delighted to announce the addition of 32 new flights to our network. This expansion reflects our commitment to providing seamless connectivity, affordable air travel and an enhanced customer experience to our passengers. With improved schedules and increased frequencies, we aim to deliver greater reliability and convenience, ensuring our passengers reach their destinations efficiently. As we continue to grow our fleet and operations, we will be adding more flights in the coming weeks. We look forward to welcoming passengers on board as we continue our journey towards a more robust fleet and service delivery.”
